I Run This City

Everyone celebrates his or her birthday a little differently.  What do I do for mine?  I run.  (Yes, literally run.  Not ride, or drive, or fly, but RUN!) around our amazing city of Albuquerque and I pray.  I run the number of miles that I’m turning in years so this year is 38 miles!  Why? There is already enough bad news in our city every day that I decided for one day I could run, pray, and highlight some amazing things happening in our city.

This is my third year to do this and as difficult as it is it is also magical. I LOVE seeing people across our city come together, pray, and realize there are some great things happening. This year I’m doing something new though.  My amazing team has designed what I think is a really cool shirt. I’m going to use this as a platform to raise funds for one of my favorite ministries, Young Life.

So here’s the deal….help me out by buying a shirt for $38 and ALL of the funds raised will go to Young Life.  I know, your thinking, WOW, that’s an expensive shirt.  But I figured if I can run 38 miles you can give Young Life $38.  So, I’ll give you a choice, come run with me on March 16th or just buy a shirt and you get a free pass.
